Hello! I’m Rose Gerrard and I’m a Children’s book illustrator and designer living in London - though I’m a northerner at heart. I love to create scenes with movement and humour, and craft interactions between characters that bring their personalities to life.  

 

I started my illustration journey by gaining an Illustration MA at Kingston University. I worked in-house as a designer for Penguin Random House and Bloomsbury Publishing, and now freelance from my home studio.

 

Whether I’m anthropomorphising animals, creating characters, or immersing myself in a new world, I like to fill every project with bright pops of colour and an innate sense of fun.
